Christmas Novena prayer cards
This novena is believed to have begun in Ireland in the 19th Century as a way to prayerfully prepare for Christmas. Often called the St Andrew novena because it is to be prayed from his feast day (30th November) until Christmas eve (24th December). To pray this novena, the faithful are called to recite the novena prayer 15 times a day during the novena period.
A prayer card to keep on hand is a very useful aid for novenas, and this design combines classic calligraphy with an illuminated border featuring the Blessed Mother and Child Jesus to assist in focusing your prayers. Available in two sizes, you can choose from the classic pocket-sized A7 card to slip into your bag or wallet, or a slightly larger A6 sized card that could also be used as a Christmas postcard.
A7 prayer cards: 105 x 74 mm; printed on 350gsm white card.
A6 prayer cards (postcard size): 105 x 148 mm; printed on 350gsm white card.
